Don't know what it is lately, but we've currently been crushing hard-core on pastels and polka dots. Whether it's an item of clothing, an accessory or painted on our nails, we just can't seem to get enough of these two posh P's. Anyone else having some serious cravings for all things mint or some dotted-up garments?? Love love love!

Paris Couture Fashion Week 2012
Chanel Couture
Elie Saab
Versace Couture
Valentino Couture
Christian Dior
(Pics via FabSugar)
So we are just now able to pick our jaws up off the floor after spending hours upon hours gawking at the beyond amazing creations that strolled down the runway at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. It's hard for us to even find words to describe our thoughts about each label because one after another, they literally left us speechless. From the elegance and pastels of Elie Saab, to the fierceness and attitude that is always Versace, each designer's work was literally that of a fashion genius. We just have one word for everyone and everything involved with this past week, Merci.

Braids on the Brain
We have always been a fan of braids. This diverse hairstyle has a sense of effortless glamour that we absolutely love. Although we aren't the best braiders in the world(our mom didn't pass that talent down to us), we have a lot of fun experimenting and playing with different styles of braids depending on our outfits and what look we are going for. You can opt for the classic french, simple side braid, braided bangs, or the fishtail braid that is a major trend this season. And having the option of braiding as much or as little hair you want allows for constant change and endless options. So pick a style you feel like rocking and get to braiding!

Golden Globes Red Carpet 2012
(Pic source: FABSUGAR)
Award season has officially kicked off, and you know what that means...let the red carpet show-downs begin! At this year's Golden Globes, the stars were dressed to impress, and the fashion trends were out in full force. A prominent style that took over the red carpet was the fish-tail gown, sported by celebs such as Sofia Vergara in a navy Vera Wang creation. The color of the night was blush, hands-down. Stars such as Charlize Theron in Dior Couture, and the absolutely gorgeous Kate Beckinsale( her earrings were to DIE for) in Roberto Cavalli rocked this feminine hue. Glee star, Lea Michele, worked the carpet in a show-stopping Marchesa fish-tail gown. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig can do absolutely no wrong in our eyes. And we want to give a standing O to Brad Goreski(who we LOVE) for styling Jessica Alba and helping show off her beauty in that amazing, embellished Gucci gown. All these "A-list" stars definitely receive an A+ plus from us!

The "Endless" Scarf
The infinity scarf is an essential for your fall/winter wardrobe. You can wrap this cozy yet stylish accessory in a number of different ways to suit whatever the occasion, or weather, may be. The scarves come in a variety of colors, textures, and styles. Just remember the thicker the texture, the less you need to wrap it around. Don't want to suffocate yourself! We like to pair this warm, fashion-forward accessory with a white v-neck, loose sweater on-top, some basic black skinny jeans, and a pair of sleek, leather riding boots. You will be ready to hit the streets looking cozy yet always fabulous.

NYE Outfits
So may I just say that NYE is one of my favorite days of the year to get dressed up because it lets me look like a disco ball and I LOVE it! I opted for an all sequined silver long sleeve BB Dakota dress, and I paired it with Victoria Secret thigh-high boots that, although consisted of a 5 inch heel with a 1 inch platform, were so ridiculously comfy! I'm officially obsessed. Kaygan decided to rock black skinnies, a basic black tank, Steve Madden wedges, and topped her ensemble off with an awesome blazer from Forever 21. We both are dying over the lip colors we chose to wear. Kaygan went for a fierce tint from Ulta called "Romantic Red", while I chose a more violet shade from Mac, "Rebel A 51". Hope everyone had a safe and festive night! Oh and ps, don't we have absolutely fab looking friends??:) Happy New Year y'all!
